Almost all mobile phones have their own way of storing and accessing videos. Some automatically save them in Gallery on your mobile, some save them on memory card. But normally you will find all the videos in Gallery folder or Media folder. When you get to see little thumbnails (little preview images) of your videos with file names next to them – you will choose which one you would like to upload to a computer:
1. To transfer video from your mobile phone to computer using Bluetooth*:
- Identify what file you want to download (remember the name of the file - usually mobile phone will automatically give a name to your video in form of 6 or more d$
- Select the video of your choice
- Select options (this varies from mobile to mobile) and select send
- The next thing mobile will prompt you to choose from a number of options - you will choose Bluetooth
- The mobile will then scan for Bluetooth devices and will list all of the available ones in your vicinity - you will choose the one you recognize as the computer $
- Select ok and mobile should start transfer automatically
*Please note - this process is possible only if both mobile phone and computer have Bluetooth available and activated.
2. To transfer video using USB cables:
- Connect your mobile to your computer using USB cable (see image above to identify USB cable)
- An icon for a "mass storage device" will appear on computer's desktop - this is visual representation of your mobile phone - double click to access the content
- File browsing panel will appear for you to select videos folder where you will find videos from your mobile
- Then just select (click on) video and drag it to the desktop and computer will automatically copy the video to the computer
3. To upload video from your computer to the "Mezzo moderno, mezzo distrutto" website:
- Open browser (Firefox, Safari, Internet explorer, etc)
- Type website address or copy from here and paste in the address box of your browser: http://www.e-w-n-s.net/mezzodistrutto/
- When the page is loaded, click on Upload link
- When the page opens: fill in Title, Author, Location, Date and Description text boxes
- On the same page: click on File button
- File browsing panel will appear for you to select the video you would like to upload
- Choose desktop and search for the file
- Select the video file and click ok (or choose) - in case you change your mind or want to amend changes to your Description or any other reason, you can always cl$
- Back on the page: type in your email address in contact box
- Tick: I agree to publish the uploaded file under the Free Artistic License
- Click on upload file button and that should be it
*The next step is to wait for the file to upload - please give it a bit of time - sometimes due to speed of the Internet connection it takes a few minutes to upload larg$
**Click on Browse link on the top navigation bar on the website and go to see your uploaded videos.
